My name is Luis Medina and I am an Indianapolis-based artist. The aim of my art is to help you escape, if only temporarily, into a world of transcendent beauty. Such beauty exists all around us and in my paintings, I try and capture their fleeting flickers before they slip away into forgetfulness. Captured on canvas, these beautiful images are free to perform their magic on us whenever we stop to contemplate them.
In this digital age, we take and store thousands of photographs–the vast majority of which never see the light of day. They exist mainly in digital format, dormant and forgotten on your hard drive.
